Christian is a licensed PROFESSIONAL mountain bike racer, if he cannot offer you advice, no one can. Please trust me when I say that buying bicycles and accessories over the internet is NOT cheaper. Factoring in shipping, returns for not quite right merchandise or assembly required, local bike shops can not be beat. Table Rock is mine.

Tom LaFera at MAC Fitness
Tom LaFera, another of my oldest friends. My mind runneth over with memories of him and I traveling with our buddies/teammates to bike races in the early 90's. He was always faster than me without trying! He is now an extremely in-demand personal trainer at MAC Fitness. My life is richer when he is in it, and he has been making my wife sore and buff for years, as he is her personnel trainer as well.

Mohonk Preserve
If you would like to say 'Hi!' to me early Tuesday mornings, then you can find me with Eric Gullickson at the Mohonk Preserve. We will be SLOWLY riding our bikes on the preserve and welcoming the dawn. Yes, it is true, there is an albino chipmunk up there, we have seen it twice!

Verge Sport
I commute to work on my bike via the excellent Rail Trail between High Falls and Kingston. When it is cold and rainy, my patients think I am a little crazy, but you all don't know that my bike shop, Table Rock, sells Verge cycling clothing. The best, warmest cycling clothing I have ever worn in twenty one years of riding. It kinda makes me wish I was racing again. Questions for them? Contact Don Snoop over there. If being a nice and helpful human was an Olympic sport, Don would be in the medals. Oh, he is also the 2008-2009 NY State Cyclocross Champ in the Masters division.
